My bad for not spending more time blogging.  Just having a hard time finding the time to post.  Between conducting classes and traveling, the time is tight.  Appreciate those die-hards who keep coming by.

House Democrats Health Plan

House Democrats are preparing to advance legislation that would deliver on President Barack Obama’s promise to remake the nation’s costly health care system and cover some 50 million uninsured by taxing and penalizing the wealthy and employers.

Amazingly simple isn’t it?  And guess what, you and I who are Joe Taxpayer don’t have to be taxed for it, only the rich.  They don’t need all that money do they?  Oh wait, not so easy?

Congressional plans to fund a massive health-care overhaul could have a job-killing effect on New York, creating a tax rate of nearly 60 percent for the state’s top earners and possibly pressuring small-business owners to shed workers.

Been away…

Just returned from a couple weeks stateside on vacation.  Sure was a nice break from the dust and heat of Iraq.  Did the ole family vacation stuff full tilt; Disneyland, Sea World, fishing, museums.  A great time was had by all!
