Sitting here on a drizzly, pre-December day, after drowsing from my Sunday morning eggs, bacon, hash browns and gravy n biscuit breakfast, when I had a brain flash.
Enough of the political blogs, I’ll do a series on all my favorite Christmas toys I got while growing up. So, here’s number 1 in the series…
The Big Jim Rescue Rig…
Found a couple of these babies for sale on eBay too. Not quite sure what happened to mine, other than it probably quietly made it’s way to the trash heap after a couple years.
Now that I see it again, it really seems kinda cheezy with it’s soft plastic box shape. The back unsnapped to reveal printed first aid type graphics. I remember that the boom really had no lifting capacity and barely could lift the “Big Jim” in the convertible litter/basket.
Still brings back the memories though…
