Obama Campaign Staff Support Che Guevara

February 12, 2008

I was going to post a little something on the Cold War heating up after hearing that some Russian bombers are harassing the U.S. Navy off the Coast of Japan when I found an even more blog worthy item.

Seems some volunteers in an Obama Campaign office in Houston have decorated it with a Cuban flag featuring the image of the Marxist and notorious terrorist.

Okay, so it’s not an official Campaign office and not funded by Obama, but still, what types of folks are voting for him???  And have they no concept of politics and history?

  1. Leftist symbolism, such as that evident in the display of Che Guevara propaganda, seems to be important to the Barack Obama campaign. Four months ago, I pointed out another example of it in a post, Photo on Obama Web Site Raises Questions. In that post, I questioned the subliminal message the liberal Democrat hoped to convey by posting on his campaign website a photo of Obama sitting in front of a framed photo of Muhammad Ali standing over a knocked-down opponent in a boxing ring. Oh, the symbolism!

  2. Unbelievable, and yet totally believable. His chant of change seems to really be convincing people he is the next coming, too. Yet, when asked, none of his supporters even know what he stands for or anything that he has actually accomplished. And jeez, Che? That’s such a throwback from the 60s you’d think that most of his supporters wouldn’t even know who he was. Maybe they should update their symbolism to current times - say - Hugo Chavez? ;)

  3. Workers of the world unite!

Bush and the rest of those overly capitalist Republican’s is why 84,050 - 91,713 innocent Iraqi civilians have died. Count yourself lucky that this war isn’t being fought at home in the US.

I’m so glad that Bush cares about dictatorships…
And don’t get me wrong - I am happy that we got rid of Saddam…. but how about Mugabe…?

Oh yer… forgot… no oil there! Does no one care about the starving population there?

And before you go off slagging of socialist countries and leaders 99.8% of Cubans are literate.

How many Americans are literate? 95.5%

Heath care is free and Cuba produces some of the best doctors in the world. Cuba doesn’t led ill people die if they’re poor - unlike some countries I know where ill family members, so not to be a burden to the family, keep their illness to themself to not be an expense.

    Not so smug now.

Just because you do not agree with socialist politics do not go around slagging them off because I can assure you that corruption and evil exists in every government. Where there is a group of human beings, there is a group of human errors.

I acknowledge that capitalism does work but never underestimate the power of socialism!

    Workers of the world unite!

PS - You wonder why the rest of the world considers the Republicans as a racist party…? Its thanks to people like you with comments like this: I questioned the subliminal message the liberal Democrat hoped to convey by posting on his campaign website a photo of Obama sitting in front of a framed photo of Muhammad Ali standing over a knocked-down opponent in a boxing ring. Oh, the symbolism!

    How very forward thinking! NOT!

Just an ignorant racist, trying like most other Repulbican’s to scare people into voting Republican.

Obama is America. America is a country made up of different people! You sir SHOULD BE ASHAMED! How dare you call yourself an American? You ostracize foreigners!

  4. WOWU,

So what exactly did I say that was wrong? Your smoke screen didn’t really address the blog and the point I was making.

But hey, I had a good laugh reading your post. Pretty funny stuff for someone living outside the U.S.!!!
