Republican Debate on Fox

Please tell me you all watched the debate last night!  After learning we have 10 candidates right now, I had to watch just to see who is who.

Don’t laugh, but I took notes during the broadcast of my initial, superficial reactions.  You know what they say about first impressions, so here’s my notes:

Worst:

Huckabee - guy’s a wimp, absolutely unimpressive.  Besides, we can’t have a President with the name of Huckabee!

Paul - Guy’s too old, had nervous tics, but absolutely floored me with his crack about our foreign policy causing 9/11.  Forget this ass clown.

Thompson - Name’s too alliterate.  Besides, he was stiff and uncharismatic.

Middle of the Road/Undecided:

Gilmore and Hunter - Who the hell are they?  Still can’t figure that out.  Must have missed it when their names popped up on the screen, or they didn’t have impressive enough responses to make an impact on me.

Brownback - Did okay

Tancredo - Still considering

Best of Show:

Romney - Well spoken, but has that slick, Hollywood style.  Kinda suspicious.

McCain - Good points, very confident and great presence.

Guiliani - Great response to Paul’s absurdities.  Very well spoken, but I’m not sure I agree with all he said.
